BATTLE READY - Perks of Kingdom Building

THE PERKS OF KINGDOM BUILDING
Sunday, March 30nd Sermon Recap
When we build God's kingdom, we are invited into a transformative journey that brings divine blessings into our lives. The work is challenging, but it is accompanied by undeniable "perks" that enrich our faith and provide deeper purpose. Let's explore these aspects of kingdom building and discover the unique joys it offers.

Provision: Trusting in Divine Care

Kingdom building is often accompanied by the assurance of God's provision. This isn't about guaranteeing a life free of hardship; rather, it's the promise that every need will be met as we carry out His work. Challenges may arise, but believers are sustained by a God who equips us for every task.

Philippians 4:19 affirms this promise: "And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Provision becomes a reflection of God’s steadfast care, reminding us that in Him, there is no lack, only abundant sufficiency

Purpose: A Life of Meaning and Value

Kingdom building anchors our lives in purpose. It is a calling that transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary, infusing significance into every aspect of our work and relationships. Ephesians 2:10 beautifully captures this truth: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do."

Every believer has a unique role within God's kingdom—a role that reflects His intentional design for their life. Whether managing a household, repairing vehicles, leading ministries, or pursuing careers, everything becomes a meaningful act of service. There are no "small" tasks in the kingdom; every action is a reflection of His divine purpose.

People: A Spiritual Family

One of the most profound blessings in kingdom building is the community it fosters—a spiritual family that uplifts, supports, and celebrates one another. Jesus Himself promised in Mark 10:29–30 that those who sacrifice for the gospel will receive spiritual brothers, sisters, and mothers in abundance, along with eternal rewards.

Being part of this community is a blessing, as relationships within the kingdom offer companionship, mentorship, and shared purpose. In times of joy, we rejoice together; in times of sorrow, we find solace in one another. The people who walk beside us in kingdom work are reminders of God's love and faithfulness.

Power: Strength Beyond Measure

Kingdom builders experience the power of God at work in their lives. Ephesians 3:20 assures us that God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine, according to His power at work within us.

This divine power strengthens us in times of difficulty, enables us to achieve what seemed impossible, and works through us to bless others. It reminds us that the challenges we face are not ours alone; the battle belongs to the Lord. His strength equips us to fulfill His calling with confidence and courage.

Permanent Rewards: Treasures in Eternity

While much of the world focuses on temporary rewards, kingdom building offers treasures that last forever. Revelation 22:12 holds this promise: "Look, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me to repay each person according to their work."

Unlike fleeting accolades, the rewards of the kingdom are eternal. They are the treasures of God's glory, the joy of His presence, and the fulfillment of His promises. These rewards are a reminder that our work for the kingdom is never in vain.
As kingdom builders, we are invited to participate in something far greater than ourselves—a life infused with provision, purpose, community, power, and eternal rewards. These blessings are not merely perks but profound promises from our King. Today, let us reflect on the ways we can step into this calling. Whether it's through intentional acts of service, fostering connections with our spiritual family, or boldly trusting in God's provision, each action draws us closer to His purpose. What step will you take this week to align your life with the work of His kingdom?
